Nia works on many levels and that’s what I love about it. It strengthens the body, calms the mind and opens the heart. Nia is empowering. It brings us home to the body and grounds us in the present. It builds community, ignites creativity and oxygenates the brain.
Coming from a background which included dancing, teaching ceramic art, facilitating women’s circles and hospitality, becoming a Nia instructor felt like a natural progression. After experiencing for my self the joy Nia has brought to my life I am excited and honored to share with others the fusion of structure, expressive freedom and healing that Nia brings. The body centered approach makes it accessible for Every Body and is fun.
I aspire to make my Nia class a highlight of the week for those who come.
